Gunzip and untar the package file Nexus.tar.gz into the directory in which you want to install. Then go to Nexus directory and type "make init" in the command prompt.

bash$ tar xfz Nexus.tar.gz
bash$ cd Nexus
bash$ make init
```
Now open a web browser and point your browser to the file "install.php" in the Nexus directory. Then you will see the following screen. Please enter the required information and press the "Next" button.
Now the system will check whether the settings are correct and then create the system tables.
After clicking the "Next" button in the previous step, we are now entering the setup for the system administrator.
If all settings are correct, we are ready to go into the final step, installing the cron jobs.
Go back to the Nexus directory as in Step 1, type "make crond", then the system installation is completed.
